Slowly raise your temps to the maximum for your species, I just read around 30-32c for the Lesueur's and increase feeding. Introduce your male to the female or if they are housed together do nothing but add a breeding box with moist sand in one area of the tank and keep an eye on the female as she will slowly grow in width over the next few weeks. Keep the dusting of calcium up to the female particularly after a clutch is layed. Good luck

i bred lesueurs last summer and it has begun again!.
i merely put a female and male in same enclosure.
i do not artificially heat my geckos, they just started breeding with the change in season/light (they are near a window).
I even hatched 4 healthy hatchlings without even using an incubator, the eggs were just put on a shelf as an experiment.
i have a gravid female now, who is by herself because the male hassles her constantly. she produced 6 eggs (3 clutches) last season.
that is the sum total of breeding knowledge i have on this species- they the easiest lizard i have ever maintained indoors.

Any info on how to breed northern velvets? What is the minimum age to breed them?
Age isnt so important, but generally 18 months old is ok (you can breed younger but only if they have grown nicely).
Incubate them at 28.5 in a vermiculite/pearlite mix

I bread leopard geckosback england there easy to breed unfortunately i was only 10 and didnt know what temp to keep the eggs at they laid 3 clutches.

I just got Keeping and Breeding Australian Lizards from the herp shop (on recommendation by John McGrath ;) ) I have only flicked through some of it but it is very comprehensive. The one by Rob Porter is ideal for someone interested in getting some geckoes, however I found the info was not detailed enough for me to keep them confidently.

Keeping and breeding most common (in captivity) geckos is actually quite simple, all you need to do is provide adequate food, water, warmth and shelter and they will do the rest.
