I'm looking at breeding snakes in a few years. Will I need to get some kind of Breeding license or can I breed snakes on a Class one permit? Also, i've had a read of the permit, but I can't figure out if I can keep as many snakes as I wan't on the Class one license (Only 2 Womas, due to they are a restricted species), Can I keep up to as many snakes as I want on the one license? And one more question, Is becomeing a Registred breeder a must?

Thank you.

Hey, I'm looking into this stuff too, what I see is if we have the normal licence we can sell the hatchlings if they aren't being shown in a store etc. We can have as many reptiles that we aloud to get in the first place. Sorry thats all I know, not very helpful to you though lol.

Yep, breed away little buddy. It is called natural increase.

I don't think you need to worry about breeders permits until you become a commercial supplier.

only allowed to SELL one clutch in W.A. on your normal license per year, but I think there is no limit to breeding

yeah FNQ_snake is correct on this, i rang EPA on the same topic an they said that you only need a breeding permit when you start making a business of it

an its mostly becuase of tax purposes.
