my dog scares them off tho and there are only a few in hiding spots do you know how to breed them

What are you breeding them for? food, experience etc.
I dont see the harm as long as you kill them all when your done with them and dont release them.

Still doesn't answer the question why would you want to, they're introduced and not really considered too much of pest they are still not native.

whats an easy gecko or lizard to breed thats cheap and can get me started for breeding in future if i can get enough money for more gecko or lizards to sell thats native.

If you want money, get a paper route. Setting up a breeding colony will not be cheap or easy, it requires a lot of work and not only that, you will need contacts to sell through, depending on where you are.

Mate what you need to do is back up a few steps!, You are obviously new to reptiles
what you need to do is get your self some good starter geckos ( thicktails would be a good choice) and learn ALL you can just by keeping them alive before you even think about attempting any breeding!

There are plenty of good books available on geckos that will help you along your way.
A site sponsor called Herp Books will be able to help you with reading material.

There's no point in keeping them if it's just for profit.
When I get a lizard, I might breed once, for fun.
I'll make sure I have the space.

don't try to breed reptiles to make money, that is really dumb in your situation, beeman is right. Although perhaps you should do your research and learn more about reptiles and read up on your local reptile rules and licensing. nobody would want to buy unlicensed house geckos. Not sure about cairns but my license wasn't hard to get and they don't cost a fortune, feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
