Bulging Eyes on bearded Dragon

A friend of mine has two bearded dragons, both females, one of which has developed bulging eyes. She has an appointment with a vet on tuesday. Nothing has changed in the care and living conditions of the dragons. The basking spot is 35 deg C, they are housed on gravel but are fed in a bowl on paper, they are fed vegies and dusted woodies and their tank is 5ft long. She has used google to try and find a cause thinking it may be husbandry related. It comes up with high blood pressure. Is the cause stress related? Food related? Has anyone had this happen to their bearded? The uv tube she uses is zoomed and the current one is 6 months old.

i cant quite see the photo proply (im on a small laptop) but i cant tell anything wrong with the eyes - could possibly be an infection?
(dogs can get a swallen face from an infected canine)

Did you post a pic of the right one? :? Cause i cant see anything wrong with those eyes either.

Is it shedding at all? Ive noticed my little boys eyes bulge a little when shedding his eye caps etc. But again, from those pics i cant see anything wrong.

yeh if seen my mates berdies do it but they only do it quickly and its amazing how far they can push there eyes out but if they are only eye bulging for 1 min or so i wouldn't worry but im no expert, but apparently its to help break the skin around there eyes to help with shed

IMO to me those eyes looke perfectly normal. Might be the angle of the photo.
It's always a good idea to get a vet check if you are unsure. Sometimes a photo doesn't do justice and you really can't seem whats happening
