This is my first time selling animals on APS im just curious what bumping means? I noticed people had done it and so i did it on my posts but have no idea what it means. Is it to move my post back closer to the top?

You are correct but its also considered bad forum etiquette to bump too often. The time limit to prevent new posts bumping in the for sale sections here is 72 hours.

I never thought it was an acronym. I thought it was exactly as it sounds.... Making a comment bumps your post back up the top. With nothing to say but wanting the post moved back to the top, people just type bump.
