Just a reminder that the Cape York Herpetological Society's meeting is on this Friday 20/4. This will be held at our regular venue, Cairns City Library from 7pm and will feature Greg Miles. The subject of Greg's talk will be:
The Conservation Crisis in North West Australia and what can be done about it
More information can be found on our society's website Cape York Herpetological Society
Reptiles Australasia will also be donating 2 books to raffle for the CYHS for Greg's talk this Friday. The books will be a signed copy of The Little Blue Book- A short History of the Grand Cayman Blue Iguana by Fred Burton and a copy of the Complete Carpet Python by Nick Mutton and Justin Julander.
I will also be bringing along a few copies of Reptiles Australasia Issue 2 for anyone interested in our guest speakers article on captive breeding of the Pig-nosed Turtle.
Greg is always such an enjoyable speaker to listen to and invokes thought provoking rational. Hope to see you all there.
Kind Regards
Ursula
