Anyone interested in reptiles and frogs should attend tonight's meeting of the Cape York Herpetological Society held at the Cairns City Library at 7pm.
Alastair Freeman will give a talk on: Saving a living fossil; identifying potential threats to the conservation of the Gulf snapper (Elseya lavarackorum) in NW Queensland.
Followed by a discussion about the future direction of the club. The CYHS is not exclusively "herpetological" club, all reptile keepers in the region are welcome.
