Hopefully heading to Bali next year for my brothers wedding, they are planning to have it at conrads casino which is at Nusa Dua(far south of Bali), unfortunately nearly every hotel around there won't cater to our 3 child family unless we get two rooms which is well out of our meagre budget. Can anyone recommend somewhere they have stayed around that area or in Kuta which was nice and had a good vibe for families. My parents will also be going so happy to look at whole houses for hire, etc as well as we might be able to organise a few other people to stay with us.

When i stayed in bali about 3 years ago me my brother sister mum and dad shared a room... we stayed at the Dewi Sri Cottages Bali

There was plenty of room even a separator for the parents part :)

You can get some awesome houses to rent over there, my son and his gf and I were looking into it a few years back. Most of them are out of the tourist areas and lovely and peaceful and really cheap. Do a google search, you should find websites dedicated to renting holiday houses.

Look up 'Kuta Townhouses'. Amazing location and reasonable prices.

If that doesn't suit I could ask about some others, my family is over there 4 times a year.

Hi there!

I'm a travel agent, and my favourite family property is the Bali Dynasty. They've got family rooms which cater for 3 children families, and the resort itself is fantactic! PM me if you would like me to get a quote together for you :)

Thanks SShazz but I just googled it and it's pretty well out of our price range given a family room seems to start at $250 a night.

So far the Dewi Sri that geckorider mentioned seems like a good option but they are currently listing all their rooms as unavailable, not sure if that's because they are booked out this far ahead or because they don't take bookings this far ahead.

Search garden view. Great location, well priced, awesome staff and they do bungalows which i assume sleeps 5. Stayed there 3 or 4 times. Walking distance to kuta

Thanks, I'll check it out. We don't want to go all out on this trip. If we had our choice Bali wouldn't be somewhere we'd gofor a holiday. Sure we'll enjoy ourselves and we don't want to sleep in a rat infested dive but we'd rather save our money and go somewhere we really want to go in a few years time.

Kerobokan. It seems pretty popular with aussie tourists at the moment. :)
