does anyone know of a cheap carpet cleaning services that only does one room?
all the quotes I've gotten are around $100... and I cant afford that...
Im looking for something around the $40 mark if possible.

Might have to start making some carpet cleaning mates so you can get mates rates because I doubt you would get it that low. They have to drive out there, their time, their wear and tear on machines, at $40 I am sure it would be not worth their while.

Pretty sure you can rent the units from Woolworths for like $50 or so.

I have a few clients who are carpet cleaners and they average around the $99-$120 mark.

I got a quote from james home services for $39... however they dont have anyone that services indooroopilly at the moment >.<
Im moving out, so I think i'll need a receipt for the real estate...

There are many carpet cleaning services but I suggest you contact All Aces Services at 1800 00 10 10. Talk to their technicians.

We have a carpet shampooer here...and honestly it's so easy and does such s great job.
Maybe you could look into second hand ones or renting? I think the brand is missel or something...
Wish I got paid $100 everytime I did the damn carpet!

well, you're kinda stuffed in this situation, you'll be VERY hard pressed to get a service for less than $100, and for leaving a rental property, it HAS to be done by a professional (well, at least every lease I've ever had, which is quite a few over the last 30 years)

it's one of the costs of renting I'm afraid.
you might just have to see if you can borrow off a friend, and in future, keep a kitty for such expenses aside.

My minimum call out is $165, and your average bond job carpets are trashed...:)

this thread is from march 2011.... i'm well and truly gone :p

even if this topic is done for you raven, it might serve someone else on the forum ;)
plenty of beginner renters out there who haven't thought to plan ahead! or even plan for the beginning most of the time heh.

I use my Kirby which has the carpet shampooing add ons. Very good too. Got new carpets laid not many months ago so it is still clean so I just have to use my turbo head evey week to keep it clean.

in a rental situation patonthego, one *usually* has to have a receipt from a certified carpet cleaning business for a real estate agent to accept the job has been done properly.

Yep otherwise you'll have to get it done again, I got four rooms and a hallway for $100.

1. Pick up the yellow pages
2. Cleaning>Carpets
3. Ring A-couple
4. Book Cheapest
