I have seen literally thousands of Carpet Pythons being kept by countless people on four different continents and I could count the number of them which were in enclosures that large on one hand.There's a massive disconnect between what people say online and what people actually do. In reality, managing enclosures that large is difficult and for various reasons the snakes don't do as well. Especially for a beginner, it's better to go for something smaller, and taller enclosures generally post heating problems unless you're in a warm climate.
