PEBBLES ARE BAD .
i just saw one of my green tree frogs spit up a pretty big white pebble . But i dont have white pebbles in my enclosure [ the only pebbles i have are like double the size of the frog]
i can only assume that the pebble was in the frog when i got it [ iv had them for almost 2 weeks now] .
This frog that spat the pebble up has been eating fine ..... and has just eaten a couple of small cockroaches ...

well my frogs just poop them out or if they eat a big one they spit it out

frogs do encounter pebbles in their environement (maybe not as concentrated as in a tank) but they seem to be mostly smart enough to spit them out or avoid them.

that said, my frogs are mostly kept on sand-based/spaghnum moss aquariums. i trust my frogs not to eat the rocks in the pebbled sections. i have not had any problems so far...

I will keep my eye out though - there will always be one who has something go wrong.
