Does anyone know where to get cheap 15W 45cm fluro tubes, most stores only stock 18W 60cm tubes or larger and the the only 15W I can find are the expensive aquarium or reptile tubes. Just want something cheap to use for general daylight lighting for a snake Cheers

Have you tried Bunnings? I got my 2' fitting from there so I would assume they would also stock the tubes for them

I did a search on bunnings website and could only find 2ft tubes not the 18 inch ones i need but will definately try in person this week some time.
In the mean time I have put a blue plastic filter between the 10.0uv tube i have (spare from my beardies) and the enclosure mesh top to minimise any possible damage to the snake caused be excessive uv, as well as giving the enclosure a nice light blue glow. Would have thought the plastic and the mesh top would filter out most of the uv.

All that being said I would really prefer a normal tube and save the expensive 10.0 for my beardies
