RE: Re: cheap food

I'm curious as too how he got them outta the uni. The best way to get cheap snake food is too breed your own if you have more than 3 snakes.

Pffft... even first year students can find themselves left alone in labs or wherever quite often, chucking them in a backpack or something wouldn't be too hard... :p Come to think of it, I have one of those backpack coolers designed to hold a 6pack.. hmm.... ;)

RE: Re: cheap food

Today, we have actually been toying with the idea with getting out of the hobby biz side of the Rodent Ranching, and going bigger and full time. Only prob is we have to deal with the local council and the EPA(Environment Protection Agency). I would also have to quit my casual job at the local Tavern, and take on the whole Rodent Ranch day to day running. Even now, we haven't got the time or money to do it properly. But we are really trying. Looks like snake breeding is going to explode around the country, and all the breeders are going to need more and more food eh? Anyway, we will talk some more, and see what we can do? Cheers Cheryl and Dave
