are these kept in captivity? Their appearance really appeals to me and it seems smart to keep a threatened species in captivity due to their fragile existance in the wild.

Would love to know if they are.

highly doubt that they are kept in captivity as they are bordering close to endangered plus it doesn't take much to upset the balance to their natural environment

well I also thought endangered species wouldn't be kept in captivity but the murray darling python is on the endangered species list and is kept in captivity.

yes however certain animals can thrive in captivity and certain ones simply can not adjust no matter how much people try .

ill agree with you though id also like some quite a beautiful looking gecko

I love the "saggy-baggy" look of these guys, too. If only.... *sighs wistfully*

Yeah Kristy, thats what attracted me to them as well! They have that cute chubby look about them, and those big floppy feet. Did you see the pics of them curled up? They are on the forum somewhere... sooooo cute!

Don't look up croc skinks what ever you do... you will likely have your heart broken once again! lol

I won't!

Okay, I lied, I just looked them up... cute!! They look like the black dragon out of How to Train Your Dragon... *SIGH*
