i have a 8month old coastal *not sure if male or female, the girl i bought her off assures me its a female*...neways..

ive only had her for about maybe 2.5-3 months now and when i first got her i had trouble feeding her.. i then later found out she was in her shedding cycle,...

about a week before she shed i managed to get her to feed but i cheated and used a live mouse......4 days later i threw her another live mouse and she took that too...

(* I used live feed for her as a last resort which i was told to do by an experienced herp. who shall remain annonymous*)

About a week later she left me a nice little prezzie in the bottom of the enclosure so after i cleaned all that up i decided id try a F/T fuzzy which she took easliy...

its been about a week since the fuzzy and I tried feeding her the last fuzzy i have 3 days after and she wasnt interested......

is this because shes still digesting??

the tank temps are an overnight min of 20oC and a max of 35oC during the day (is this too high for her at the moment?), the heats mat is connectd to a theremostat which is at a constant 32oC and humidity levels are around 30%...

a pic of her encloure is attatched. measurements are 62cm wide X 36cm high X 30cm deep

does the time of the day when feeding her matter?..

any help, tips or input would be much appreciated as i want her to him/her as big as possible :p.

thx...

Hi,so you only tried 3 days later,i certaintly wouldnt be 2 concern at the moment, pythons can go along time without a feed,Dont try 2 overfeed him\her that will only cause problems down the track. Some pythons will feed whenever, some after dark, whats worked for you recently, nice looking enclosure at the moment, you will have to up date to a larger 1 soon.Dont give up its only been a week or so.Cheers

yeh i thought it woulda been that but then i thought coz it was only a fuzzy that she mighta eaten not long after.

ive been feedin her around sunset or just a bit after..

and im lookin to get a new enclosure fo her as soon as i can as there isnt much room for her to go upwards in this one. so will have a new one in the next few weeks... gonna spend mybe a solid $500 on one so yeh...

will get the enclosure n have pics of it up as soon as possible..
