i have a 8month old coastal *not sure if male or female, the girl i bought her off assures me its a female*...neways..
ive only had her for about maybe 2.5-3 months now and when i first got her i had trouble feeding her.. i then later found out she was in her shedding cycle,...
about a week before she shed i managed to get her to feed but i cheated and used a live mouse......4 days later i threw her another live mouse and she took that too...
(* I used live feed for her as a last resort which i was told to do by an experienced herp. who shall remain annonymous*)
About a week later she left me a nice little prezzie in the bottom of the enclosure so after i cleaned all that up i decided id try a F/T fuzzy which she took easliy...
its been about a week since the fuzzy and I tried feeding her the last fuzzy i have 3 days after and she wasnt interested......
is this because shes still digesting??
the tank temps are an overnight min of 20oC and a max of 35oC during the day (is this too high for her at the moment?), the heats mat is connectd to a theremostat which is at a constant 32oC and humidity levels are around 30%...
a pic of her encloure is attatched. measurements are 62cm wide X 36cm high X 30cm deep
does the time of the day when feeding her matter?..
any help, tips or input would be much appreciated as i want her to him/her as big as possible
.
thx...
