hello all recently discovered that my coastal has ingested some of the substrate(substrate is recycled newspaper litter..
will this harm the coastal or will she be able to pass it through
any help and advice will be greatly appreciated thanks

Should be right.... thats why you dont use any clay based litter, for exactly that reason ;)

Make sure she has plenty of fresh water and just keep an eye on her, especially that she poops ok. Record the next few poops and have a look see if you can see any litter in its poop.

I know, you said it was paper.... I will refraze what I mean.....

Arent you lucky you didn't use clay based litter.... thats why people reccommend the compressed paper litter which you are smart enough to be using :)

ha ha lol i get it now

luckily snakes are made to handle a bit of crap in their food. the un-digestible hair/feathers on their prey items probably are more difficult to pass then some recycled paper
