My woma hasn't pooped since the 24th of May...

She is 6 months old, temps are fine, she is on small rats usually every 8 days or so.. I generally feed her after she poops but still fed her on the 5th of June because it had been a while. Last time she pooped it wasn't very big either... (well as big as it usually is)

She has seemed rather lethargic the past month or so, always ALWAYS just in her hide, I thought she was just in shed because she is due for one but hasn't shown signs of it. Even when I feed her she will only poke her head out, grab the rat and drag it into her hide. When she drinks water she will only poke her head out to do so. I don't remember the last time her whole body was out of the hide except for when I have held her. Don't know if that has anything to do with it...

I am sure she will poop eventually... but just wondering if it's normal etc etc

Cheers,

Some snakes hold on if they are coming up to a shed. By the sounds of her behaviour its a possibility, apart from lack of signs...

I had the same problem with my jungle recently. I couldnt work out why she wasnt pooping. Then she did the biggest poop iv ever seen...while my dad was holding her :D VERY funny :)

Yeah, it's normal. Mine can hold it in for week or until I get impatient and just put her out on the grass

Some are just like that.

my little bredli i have fed her twice now since havin her tonight will be 3rd time and ive only cleaned one poo up

Take her out on the grass and let her roam around for awhile, might loosen things up a bit.

Another reason for lack of poos could be food items that are too small..

Both my womas are notorious for pooing infrequently, it used to freak me out but now it doesn't so much. My girl hides all the time as well. I moved her hide to the middle of the enclosure and she came out constantly to bask, then I stupidly put it back on the hot side and now shes back to hiding all the time.

My BHP, didn't poop prior to her shed. She really held onto it lol.
This was the result right after she shed....

Young pythons tend to not pass a whole lot, but you should still see something.

yeh i had her out on the grass on saturday when it was a bit of a warmer day and had her out there today still nothing, maybe she might be about to shed doesnt have the milky eyes tho, i think ill feed her two pinkies tonight instead of one

My jungle shed once with out showing the typical physical signs.

Just make sure you don't feed too much cos I did that and the shed got stuck on the bulge. I had to help get it over that part.

I live in an apartment block surrounded by concrete :/

She's on small rats that take her about 15-20 mins to get down, they are pretty big

I might do that with the hide... just to see what happens with her.

I guess it all seems normal...? How long do you wait before you start to get worried?

Mine seem to always do it the day I am considering calling the vet. The boy seems to take longer than the girl and he is eating and shedding fine. I think the longest he has gone is just over three weeks then he did two in one day. The girl is just hitting the two week mark now.

Lol... that's part of the reason I posted. In hope that I say I am worried and then she poops so I look like a fool... Although she hasn't yet...

i bought my lil hatchy home last night and as soon as i put him in his enclosure he decided to go to the toilet... twice...
