i dont believe that the snake bit the baby...

would have woken the parents up screaming... and why would the snake bite the baby?

Does sound like a heap of crap lol The parents probably held the kid down, opened the poor snakes mouth and put it to the babies neck in an attempt to sue someone over it :lol:

I would be more concerned about a month old baby sleeping in the same bed as his parents, then about the snake.
