Damn you Bob!!

Here is a photo (not a very good one) of one of my Diamonds. I got him on the cheap as he does not have very good markings at all.
Since Bob refered to this type of Diamond as a Slugmonster, every time I look at him, I can't help but think "Slugmonster".
Damn you Bob!!

He didn't have a name so now I will call him Bobby.
It all works out in the end.

Is it just about all black or does it just look that way in this photo? I have never really liked the pattern of diamonds (at least what I have seen) but an all black one would probably look pretty cool.

No, definitely not a brown phase.
He just has very small rosettes and is mostly black.
I gather from Bob's previous posts that he has seen a few like this.

I love these phase Diamonds - they are the best. I really don't like Diamons with yellow in them - these are far more awesome as far as I'm concerned.

Hey Greebo, I felt exactly the same way.
I now have a slugmonster too where I once had a high black diamond called Bernard.
If its any consolation he should colour up a bit as he ages.

A high black diamond? That's putting a postive spin on it.
Don't get me wrong, I still like him simply because he is different.
Just because a lot of people seem to prefer the high yellow diamonds does not mean that I have to.
At least now I know that I am not the only one.
