Just watching a great herp show on our Win10 TV. David Ireland(I've never heard of him before), is getting up close and personal with lots of herps, eg. Whip snake(he caught one), File snakes, he swam with a wild Olive Python - that looked awesome. Freshwater crocs - he's just removed a Barra lure from ones mouth. I think the place is Pungalina Springs(Cape York?). He seems to know what he's doing anyway. Cheers Cheryl.

i watched it aswell , good show.
theres a doco on channel 2 at 6 or 6.30 2night on GALLOPACIS ISLAND IGAUNERS (not sure on the spelling).
should be good.

I saw the show with David Ireland and he seems to be quite good, explains things well, but it sometimes seems to me that no matter how good these guys look that the scenes have been doctored up to the max. he has been around for a long time and seems very experienced. Does anyone on this site know him?

That was really good - old Dave is a wealth of wisdom

I thought swimming with the Olives was pretty cool,
I only saw the last half hour but he presented it well and had some interesting info.
that death adder nearly got him!

The whip snake nearly got him too except that he had baggy trousers on. I thought he did a pretty good job presenting, as for doctoring the footage...well they have to make it entertaining.
