day trip

Hi all,

I was hoping someone out there could help me. I was hoping to take the family out on a day trip somewhere up the blue mountains, with in a couple of hours from penrith. If anyone could give me some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Been to newnes, glow worm tunnel and yarrandri. Some where with a nice little river would be great. Please help.

Hey there Debbie,
Are you looking for herps or just scenery?
Glenbrook National Park has some good spots, it has nice big river that you can swim in, and the scenery is pretty good. Theres also plenty of bush tracks and BBQ areas.

thanks for that I will have a yak to my hubby. he got a gps for xmas and busting to use it. I love the scenery of the country but when I come across any little critter its an added bonus. thanks for your reply.
