ok well i returned from teh dentist today. 2 fillings... anyways i am a lil grumpy and i fell like my face has been blown up like a balloon. damn numing stuff....

anyways thought i would complain about it but i have 1 question!

whats the worst thing that dentists do in your opinion?

Well i hated going to the dentist for years til i found the right one, she is a real babe. I find the mixture of the pain and her pleasantness to be strangely exciting.

Needles in the roof of your mouth!!!!!

Fay

Hate getting teeth pulled out...it doesent hurt but you can really feel the crunch when he rips it out!!

The stoopid trainee nurse who doesn't suck up any of the water that the dentist is pouring into your mouth so that when you try to swallow you end up choking and spitting everywhere :D

lol i remember going to the orthodontise to get my braces out in vancouver. i kept on putting the sucktion thing to full power!

my dentist is really good with needles. hell the first time i had a filling with him i didn't even notice when the needle was going in. he nums the area then starts shaking that area when the needle goes in so you don't even notice.

still really annoying feeling, like the face is swollen but its not!

The descaler has to be the worst. Its like a little high pressure water cleaner. I hate that thing.

everything about them is bad, until the day after you have been and you wonder what the hell you were scared about, lol,

cheers,
steve........

Woow Kinky kinky Parko?

Actually, the scariest thing about a dentist, is their Bill!!!!!!!!!

Nah i'm not kinky Slatey, i'm just ''different''. But seriously i believe most men can put up with pain much easier when a gorgeous woman is close by. It's that primal cave man thing ya know, ''uh no wukka's woman just a dinosaur bite, me no need 2 arms''

I actually love going to the dentist. I love those injections into the gums, especially if he gives me four(i do tend to make fists with my toes when the needle goes in, though :) ) The only thing i hate is when i have to lean forward and spit into that tiny sink, and when i do i miss and it all runs down my chin. How embarrasment, especially when his young female assistant is watching  :) .

Doob yooub feeld bebber yeb?

yes slightly, i cna feel the right side of my face and the right side is getting back its motor skills. interesting thing, you know when you blow up your cheeks, i still can't do that yet. my flamin left side of my mouth is still incapable of moving very well.

also i agree the idea of having to eventually pay for my own dentist apointments is somewhat scary! $180 just for today and thats with medibank private!

I also love going to the dentist.I find it fun and just as well, cause I used to have to have so much done to my teeth as a child.

Never had to have teeth pulled out or any fillings.

I actually clean my teeth twice a day, unlike some people by the sounds of it :p. but thats okay, its a herper thing to have a low level of personal hygeine. It also makes u more of a herper if u get fat, grow a short beard, become an alcoholic, and chain smoke :p

I had braces when I was younger. The pain that would start a few hours after my archwire was tightened was excruciating.

I hate the ultrasonic. Not because it hurts, but the highpitch vibrations - when they hit your tooth just right - goes screaming through your skull.

SLACkra - $180 is nothing. When one of my incisors snapped off at the gumline I needed an artificial tooth made of metal to be forged, coated in porcelain, then screwed into the bit of tooth remaining. It cost $1800 and MBF only paid for $600.

:p

  you forgot to mention the habit of wearing tacky herp related T-shirts and socks'n'sandals.

i had no fillings till like i was 15. now i got like 4-6. going to keep it that way! i am going to attempt to remember to brush my teeth twice a day and floss at least once a day.
