Hey all.
I was just wondering is it bad to spray Deodorants, colognes near Bearded dragons?
I don't mean right next to their tank, but moreso 2-5 meters away?
Does it affect them?

Cheers

as long as it is not all day long, which im sure its not,,,

there will be no real effects if your just applying it once or twice a day

we have 1 bathroom the lizards never go in where we use sprays, with the door closed. either that or outside. Its not hard to go to a different room.

dont know for sure if its harmful but i cant imagine it would be good for them.

Bedroom and bathroom use only IMO. They aren't exactly great for humans, however most peoples bodies can tolerate them.

Well if it attracts all the lady bearded dragons - then yes it has an effect...

Personally I go with the - no spray at all near animals.

I am not sure what tests have been done - and not sure if anyone here has access to appropriate tests and papers.

The only spray that goes near any of my reptiles is from the water bottle, I would not reccomend spraying deodorants in the room where your Beardie or any other animal is, but thats just IMHO, I dont even spray deodorant near the cat or dog.
