Hi I am about to go away for a couple of days on Friday and whilst getting everything ready with my snakes I realised that my Diamond hasn't pooed in a while. I don't want to come home to a sick or worse animal.

Is there anything I can try to induce a poo before I take her to the vet for a check up? I know she isn't impacted from substrate as her food never hits the ground. I changed rat supplier a couple of weeks ago so that might be a cause not that it should be as my other snakes have pooed since starting the new rats.

Thanks in advance
Rick

Is she due for a shed? My python sometimes holds off on taking a dump until after shedding.

I don't think so, although I could have missed the signs.

In the past I have fed her and a few hours later she would shed so I am not sure she keeps to any regular cycle.
