My little diamond python - who is usually very active - has been sitting in her hide in the cold end for about a day now and just won't come out.
I've tried searching it online but I just can't figure out a reason why she'd be doing this! She's not even a year old yet.
Her hot end is at 30 degrees and she's had absolutely no problem with it before now...she usually spends her time in her hides at the hot end, on her branches or her little hide in the middle. I've never seen her in her cold end before let alone spending a whole day in there (I've monitored her closely the whole day).
Is there anyone who'd be able to shed some light on why she might be doing this?

No signs of shedding! It's very strange (I like the play on words, though).
She didn't shed too long ago...I can't open her records cause my computer is in the shop and all my datas on a portable hardrive floating around somewhere....but I'm sure she couldn't be coming up to one now.

yeah my juvi python acts like yours when he's shedding so i would have thought the same

Diamonds don't need that much heat. Knock it down a few degrees. Just to see if it makes a difference if for no other reason.
