hey guys i have a pair of diamonds gone feral they use to be great placid pair but eva since just before summer wen nuts i used let little kids play with her now i wont even touch her following me a long the glass every moment then wen the door is open and i put my hand in to get the water i get biten or they rush out and s up has any 1 else had this problem and is it fixable cheers brenttin

thats so weird, my coastals have done the same thing, they used to be so placid and now they are so angry and like you said feral!!
cheers malik

i do feed them extra large rat eva 2 or 3 weeks even couple days later after the feed there still lik that yea not good and doesnt tickle its bites its no hatchie bite

yes i agree with waruikazi...give them a nice big feed and they should settle. My girl gets antsy at the glass but i doubt she would ever know how to strike or bite..lovely and placid, but when she gets hungry she is keen and ready bobbing at the glass like a dog begging to be fed.

as i said there still lik that after a feed im just hoping that its the heat cos it s been hot in the room and all the snakes r moving lik crazy but its only this pair thats been lik this

it neva happen last yr

As they grow they will need more food, so maybe there ARE still hungry. Try feeding weekly for awhile and see if that helps

I have a coastal and a darwin....they are normally placid but every now and then they just get a bit aggro...it is normally a couple of days after a feed and then they settle down.

2-3 weeks may be a bit long between feeds...Probably a good average is 10 days...but as was mentioned try weekly for a little while and perhaps increase to the next size rat.

Alll ours are very hungry at the moment.
I would say they are hungry and maturing!
