I just found a glass cabinet in a secong ahnd store that would be perfect for a reptile enclosure. Its solid wood (no laminate) and glass sides/doors. The dimension are

115cm wide
120cm Tall
35cm Deep

I was planning on housing two diamond pythons in there (they are a yr old at the moment).

Will this be too small for them to live in forever? I was thinking it would be, but wasn't sure

imo, it will be too small for them, even now ... the depth I'd want to be at least 60cm (600mm) for one snake, but the height and width seem to be okay :)

Personally i wouldnt think it deep enough.
Height and width are ok but i wouldnt house a diamond in something that wasnt at least 60cm deep or close to it.

Thats what I thought . . damn it its such a nice cabinet as well, I was almost thinking of getting it in the meantime, my diamonds seem to be tiny compared to others of the same age (yes I feed them weekly) . . maybe the cold in canberra inhibited their growth

P.s whats imo?

35cm? Are you sure? That's unusually thin for a tank that height and length. Like trouble said, 60cm would be ideal.

Its a glass cabinet not an enclosure, was hoping on turning it in to an enclosure . .

Is there any way you should modify it to make it deeper?

No, i think it would be much too hard plus I don't really have the handy man skills :(

Yeah to shallow and diamonds grow a little slower then carpets.
As long as your snake is healthy then it doesnt matter what size it is.
I have 2 diamonds the same age and one is 6.5 feet and the other is 8.5 feet.

Woe thats a big difference!!! . . I can't wait till mine grow that big, but they seem to be taking their sweet time
