Its Feeding day today for Kaa, and he has been on fuzzy mice for around two months now (since I got him). Was thinking about giving him two fuzzies today, but I don't really have an idea on how to do it. Would I just put both in at the same time, or leave the second one out till he has finished his first one?
How do you guys do it?

Thanks :)

Hi Jack,
I feed my little albino 2 pinkies a week. I heat them both up, feed one and sit and wait til she has swallowed it (while swallowing the first I leave the second in the hot water so it doesn't cool down too much), then feed the second straight after.

Can she go up in size?

I have found in past experience that double feeding is only good if they cant eat larger prey items.
I believe in going up in size of the feed instead.

Wait until he has finished eating the first and as soon as his jaw is back in place, give him the second

I agree why waste two lives instead of one

I tried feeding him a Hopper Mouse two weeks ago and he wanted no bar of it, to which I assumed it was too big for him. I'm not worried about wasting mice because they're cheap lol I just want him to be healthy etc :) Thanks guys!

Yeah these Fuzzies I bought were really small, like just off pinky lol :( So yeah I'm defrosting two atm and I'll see how it goes :)

Just fed him two fuzzies no dramas at all, yay :)

Your snake would probably be better off consuming a single larger food item which has more maturity. Pinkies are mainly water.

Yeah as I stated before I tried a Hopper couple weeks back and he wanted no bar, I'll try next week though :)

You will be surprised at just how big a feed they can eat, leave the hopper in the enclosure and cover the enclosure to give him some privacy, he will eat it

My Bredli had her first fuzzy rat yesterday. When I saw her go for it I thought "There's no way she'll fit that in!"

Was completely wrong

Yeah, I got a bit worried after he ate the two fuzzies cause he went into his hide for about 3 days and wasn't basking. Now he is out under the heat. I'll definitely try a Hopper this week though :)

Thanks Guys :D
