Hi guys :'(
I have a colony of Spinifex Hopping Mice and sadly one of my 4y/o's is dying right now. She is just old and I guess its time to go. I knew she was getting old a while back, because she was getting a bit clumsy(stumbling every now and then) when normal spinifex mice are on their feet and agile, she was slow. She was also loosing her condition no matter how much I fed her, she was taken to the vet and nothing was wrong with her. Last night she was extremely clumsy to the point where she had to be stood up, I put her in a small tub and gave her grains and water and some veg and fruit, she had a nice smorgasbord for her last meal. I just found her face down, slumped over in the corner of her tub and she is gasping for air. Im sitting here with her and she is still gasping, it has been about an hour. I don't want her to suffer... What can I do?
