pretty sure an Elephant will be slower to breed, easier to find\cull (not saying its a good idea to introduce them tho)
 
Try killing them with a 5 iron....

So, chemical sprays and clearing would destroy the habitat, but letting elephants roam around won't?
Interesting idea, but somehow I don't think it will work the way they want it to...
 
Imagine how scared the poor ephalants would be during times when we have mouse plagues.
