hi everyone I was wondering whether I can make an enclosure out of an old cabinet it just needs some sliding doors and some other bits and pieces but it is made out of laminated chip board so I'm not sure whether I can use that any thoughts?

Cheers

If it is in good condition, right size then you should have no dramas

Sounds ok, the chipboard will absorb and fall apart if it gets too wet though. As well as soaking up the urine and other nasties. Paint the inside with an all weather paint or a decent varnish. Most paints/varnish are safe it its properly dried with no fumes or smell left.

Pretty much any sturdy box can be made into a reptile enclosure as long as the size is right and you can add all your reptile needs.

no it's a chipboard with a veneer on it
