Hi guys.
This holidays i am going to be building a display cage for juvenile water dragons. I was thinking a cage dimension of 1200mmL x 900mmW x 1800mmH? Its going to be made out of melamine and glass. I am going to put a pond and waterfall into it. Any more ideas? Any pics would be great. BTW they are moving outside when they are adults so this is just for a year or 2.:D
Thanks Jordy

Bigger the better, but for a temp enclosure a smaller enclosure would be alright i was thinking of getting a 1200L by 1000W by 1200H

use marine ply and make sure you seal it if your going to have water splashing around from a water fall. Melamine will swell and warp in time. And watch your globes and thermostat for moisture. don't want anything, especially yourself, getting zapped. Make sure its well ventilated:)

Thankyou very much whyme, i have been thinking a lot about this latley.

Thanks. I have another threat called "cage thread" and i have explained what i am going to do if you feel like having a look.

1800 L x 600 W x 600 H would make an awesome display enclosure for a few young dragons.

This would allow enough space for a pond area as well as enough space to run around.

just remember, the bottom has to deep enough to submerge the filter in. If you put the enclosure on a cabinet, you can cut a hole in the bottom and fix a plastic tub into it. seal it off and run your waterfall into that. Just make sure they have a log etc in there to get out.:)

A quality canister filter underneath the tank would work well.

The outlet could then be run up to a water fall.
