Female python giving off a very strong odour

I know its another one of those questions , but a friend of mine has a female diamond who is giving off a very strong odour which smells very fishy, she is kept very well and enclosure is kept spottless, cleaned everytime she urinates or defeaciates.
Im not sure, but could it just be she is in season???

Is the smell coming from just the snake in general, ?I had an adult female diamond, that died, last year,-before that she got hurt once and when she went of to the Vet.He wasnt a snake specialist, though, he said, any unusual smell,isnt good,to state the obvious.And ive never heard of a smell in season but would like to know this as well.

Is it the python or the thank...if she is sitting in a stinly tank the smell will rub off??
