Hey y'all

I'm building an EWD enclosure from a 6ft fishtank, and I'm going to be putting a piece of glass and silicon-ing it up and everything, and have that part for water. I was just curious if anyone could recommend a filter for it?
A guy I know who works at a fish shop supplier said he'll sell me a canister filter for a little cheaper (I don't remember the brand of it) but I'm a little wary, so I was just wondering if anyone can recommend anything.

Thanks

Canisters are the best - don't take up room in the tank; low maintenance and they do a fantastic job. But they are expensive. I could recommend an Aqua One canister - they are much cheaper than the likes of Fluval and Ehiem, and parts are cheaper to buy for it too. And they work just as good.

Internal power filters would work just as good. They have nothing more than a sponge supplied with it which can be washed out now and then, and if you use one that has 2 sponges you can replace one of the sponges with bioballs or noodles. But I have never found it necessary.

I have used the internal power filters in turtlelet (what are baby turtles called) tanks, only problem I find with them is they are very strong and blast the water very well. For the babies I added a spray bar and turned the outlet part to blast against the wall which lessened the current.
