ok so my dad wants to spray the house with fly spray how does this work with having a bearded dragon wont it hurt my lil buddha?
 
Take yourself away too. There's no joy in it.

Cant believe people spray that crap indoors and sit around inhaling it!
 
The good old fly swatter is all we use. You could maybe try fly traps at entry points to try minimise them in the house, but im all against sprays, as id be more concerned of a 'sprayed' fly ending up in the beardie enclosure & perhaps being eaten by your little man. Not worth the risk imo.
 
oh my gosh this thread just made me think of those hanging fly traps you used to see in old peoples houses years ago with about 20 years worth of flies stuck to it lol hanging in the kitchen ickkkkk

Yes, def not an inside thing.....they STINK! They do need to be emptied regulary, but it beats fly spray!
 
thanks heaps for all the advice!
am going to go to bunnings and woolies to have a look whats round thats NOT a spray the folks picked up some of those fly trap paper long string things and hung a couple out the back porch but they didnt seem to catch much ( maybe cos they got them from a store like the reject shop lol)
