Hi All
Could someone tell me what is the best temp to warm the frozen food to before feeding my children’s python. Trying to get her off live food to frozen.

i cant say what temp cause i havnt temp gunned one(mouse) but i put them in hot tap water let it thaw then empty the water and put more hot tap water in and feed,perfect temps as mine all except it

That is what I do. Test before giving the snake with finger. If is warm, not hot, it is fine.
 
Around normal body temp. For a rat it is about 38DegC. I heat my thawed rodents up to about 34DegC plus generally.

i just chuck in hot tap water for 10 mins! check it, feel around make sure there is no cold bits. If there is just chuck back in hot tap water until it is just right! I feed fresh kill 99% of the time now so i dont have this worry!
