You can now have snakes as pets with the new Sims 3 Pets woooo!
Also lizards and turtles. Playing it now loving it!

Getting it for christmas, looks awesome.
I got excited when I found out you can get lizards and snakes and stuff. Do they look realistic at all? I heard you can get GTP's and stuff.

Lol weird. But looks better than I thought. They have real terrariums instead of those things for the bugs, and they seem much more realistic than the bugs and butterflies on the game.

They can be found around town, best to look in parks. Cats can learn the hunting skill and can be taught to bring you back what you tell them too, but if the cat isn't smart it might bring you back something else. Also make sure the cat isn't hungry at the time or it might eat the reptiles.

I dont get burglars. I just get random ghosts and pesky neighbours who think its fine to swim in my pool.

Lol, I've never had random neighbours swim in my pool. I don't get ghosts anymore either, I built a couple of cemeteries on the other side of town. I once had a family that went for 10 generations, If I kept their gravestones at the house my people would never sleep lol. I had a deer on my property the other week:
