A friend showed me this trick a few weeks ago and I just saw this article so thought I'd share it with my favourite net friends. You don't have to just use it for your email, it can be for anything that you type on a regular basis. e.g. I seem to respond to a lot of texts with "oh ok then" (not very creative I know) so I added the shortcut "ohk" in mine.
Anyone with suggestions for useful ones feel free to share. I'm pretty sure this will work in any app that utilises autocorrect when you're typing.
