Hello every one. I was wondering what things i will need to do to frieght some reptiles??
From Sydney to Brisbane
Apart from the permits

Cheers
Kyle

Snakes under 60cm must be bagged, goose necked and in a hard plastic box. A snake over 60cm and any lizards must be bagged, goose necked and in a wooden box.

I need to send some lizards from sydney to qld and sa. Is their speacil things i need to do apart from the permits or do i just rock up on the day and ship??

QANTAS is the only carrier which airfreights reptiles so you will need to check that they are operating.

Need 1 more question answered please. Can i just rock up on the day to frieght. Or do i book what im sending first

You need to book and pay through australian air express in advance. They have allocations per flight for animals so if the spaces are filled your animals won't get on

Hi Kyle

If you dont want to airfreight..Dogmovers do weekly trips syd/bris/cairns....they take really good care of the animals, you dont need to overpackage them and they have convenient pickup/dropoff points all the way along the coast.

They have brought their price down for reptiles to approx $90 to brisbane last time i spoke to them....i use them instead of AAE....much easier and at least you know your animals will make it in one piece.
