i believe they can be kept on the rec licence, if not you can still have max 2 i think then require a advanced permit altho i'm sure they are on the rec permit

You can keep as many as you want on a rec. licence.

They had many for sale at the melbourne expo, All where sold out by around lunch time i think, I know someone who breeds them but not sure if there are any available at present, i will ask the next time i see him
