hi i was just wondering if anybody has adult frillys for sale in SA and what price they would be.(reason i didnt put this in the wanting to buy section is because im not sure i want to buy one yet until i see how much they cost) also what size vivarium does anybody that has frillys keep two in. thanks

You will be looking around $400 - $500 depending on their colour, NT reds or QLD grey. Enclosure size for pair of adults would be a 1500h by 1000. Females can also stress when caged with a male full time. Last season I had a male kill a female trying to mate with it.

ok cheers for the advice i have a female nt form i dont want her getting hurt so il leave her on her own for a bit longer and work on getting a bigger cage to give them more space. what was the size difference between your two lizards mines very small i got her a year old and i dont think she was fed enough.

Male frillies grow almost twice the size of females, if your female is in mint condition you may want to think hard about breeding her, as her frill will end up with a few holes in it at best, and you may still end up with nothing. Ideal enclosure size for breeding frillies would be bigger the better, though heating would be more expensive.

Jason at reptile city had a beautiful sub adult NT Kingii last time I visited for $550 i think.

I am unsure of the sex though.

might be the one i bought if it was two months ago. also bought the vivarium from him aswell
