hey i was wondering is there anything i can use to stop my gtf from climbong up the glass incloser. just because there is a small gap at the tope and i coverer it with tape but it would be so much better if the frog couldnt get there in the first place so does anyone know? thanks. like can i use stickytape of some glue or something

I dont know how u can make it not climb the enclosure but make sure the frog cant touch the sticky side of the tape...

ok cool thanks. why cant it touch the sticky side. is it because og the glue or just coz it can get stuck?

It can get stuck and then pull its skin off, not nice...

haha fulcon boy but i was thinking if there is anything that they cant grip onto.

they can grip to glass, they can grip on anything u put in there. try blocking the gap with something other than sticky tape. how big is the gap and how big is ur frog?

the gape goes all around the outside. it is about 1cm wide. the guy in the pet shop said the encloser would be alright. never lissen to them again lol. i was hopping when they grow up they wont be able to fit threw the gapes. and the frog is about 5cm.

You can silicon a "ledge" or "lip" of glass around the edge that sticks out about 3 or 4 centimeters. The frogs tend to not be able to work out how to climb over it.

maybe that teflon paint? i've never used it in a frogs tank but it a strip of that might do the trick

just modify your screen top. you can build a new one for under $20
i just made one with a door for about $18 all material from bunnings.

yeah i made some mesh screen thingy and i think it all works good. thanks for your idears.
