Frog ID??

Hey, just got home to find my dog with this little fella or lass cornered,

The dog had cornered it but I don't think he knew what to do with it.

I took him out the front of the house and let him go in some long grass...far away from the fishpond outside my bedroom window of course.

What type is he/she?

Look like a Litoria verreauxii
bearing in mind that most Litoria species are quite variable in colouration
