Just a silly pic one of my old buddies dug up from a few years back. We were staying at a depot in rockhampton on the way to townsville and this place was literally plagued (in a great way) with Green tree frogs. They were in the toilets, showers, sinks, urinals, garden beds and they would even drop from the roof onto our sleeping bags at night!!! Awesome critters!! Anyway, heres the pic.

Doctor "geeze mate that looks nasty"
Frog replies "yeah, it started out as a pimple on my ****"

I stayed at a pub on one of my herp trips and they had a little BBQ area that was alive with GTFs. YOu had to be careful when walking outside that you didn't squash any. Was great to see.

Yeah, this place is amazing, they are just everywhere!! And some of them are so huge!! Almost the size of rockmelons!!!

But its a bit dodgy when you forget about them and you cop a headbutt in the butt when you sit on the dunny!!!

Probly thought you were a tree with all that sexy camo Sherm! :p

That would be a great place we dont see many around here anymore

We removed 34 last week from a house that was due to be demolished, thankfully the new property owner cared. Relocated the whole colony to a brand new wetland setup on private property.
But yeah, up until a few years ago gtf's were real scarce around here too.

Teamsherman - I was buying something here in the city a couple of weeks ago, and carrying a few tubs of crickets and some other herp stuff that I had just picked up. Anyway, this guy asks me what pets I have and I gave him a brief version. Anyway he asks me if I have heard of a Teamsherman from APS (like everyone walking around with crickets would lol).. anyway I just thought that it was pretty amazing what a small world it is now that we have the internet.

Nah, sorry, he works at Kathmandu though.

Red hair, freckles?? If so, then yep, its Simon alright!!!

Ok, His name is Simon, and he is one of my good mates!!! We ride trials together and have been mates for about 2 years now!!!! Damn!! It is a small world!!!!!

We have two GTFs living in the bottom of our Pot Plant on the porch. Been there for years, well, the ones there now could be offspring for all I know. I think they are sooooo cute! But funnily enough, I can't bring myself to hold one. Lemme handle a snake any day, Frogs creep me out, lol. I dunno why, they just do. A frog pond is in the plans for our backyard Ozzie Zoo.

Hmmm, can't say I really remember what he looked like, lol... was in a bit of a rush to buy some camping gear and get back to the office in time to eat lunch ;)

Anyway, he was friendly enough and really inquisitive about my herps... and keen to tell me that you had like a million hatchy beardies at the time. :)

It is a small world. Left off saying anything for a while because I wanted to stay fairly low profile on here until I sussed it all out here :)
