Frogs - GTF

Hey guys been looking at these for a while now, jus wondering if i was to have 2 frogs or so what sort of set up/requirements do they need?

WHat size enclosure and stuff?

Ok for green tree frogs they need large leaves or perching places so they can rest.I have 2 red eyes and we bought leaves about five cm thick and they cant get enough of it.If you want them 2 breed put an exo-terra waterfall in.Im buying 5 baby green tree frogs in a week or 2 and a frog keeper said that if you look for a medium-large exo-terra tank they would fit into that perfectly.With my babies i bought a medium and will upgrade 2 a bigger 1 when they get a little 2 big for the one they are in.Are you getting 2 adults or 2 baby ones.This could help.

I posted some pics of my enclosures in the following thread.

The GTF tank houses 2. Its about 2ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft.

I run a heat mat on the bottom of the enclosure to get the temps up, and a uv tube above for the light. The plants are live, planted in exo terra tropical plantation soil, which is then covered in repti bark.

The lid of the enclosure is custom made fiberglass fly screen, held in a pine frame.

The enclosure has had a renovation since the pic was posted ( i bought a big fake rock wall / cave ) but i'm sure you get the idea.

yes they are probably the easy 2 keep out of all the frogs.But that's my opinion

GTF's are the easiest to keep.

Ive got 6 different species of frogs and the GTF's require the least maintenance.

yes they need water.Look on the tradingpost or look up exo-terra waterfall and u should find sum
