Wasn't sure where to put this so here it is.
My son is obsessed with frogs, and I am quite liking the idea of getting some.
However I don't really know that much about them and was wondering what sort would be best to start with. Is there much difference between them?
Any info. and pics would be appreciated.

frogs.org is probably the best place to start. Also if i were to recommend any frog it would definitely be Green tree frogs they're large hardy and have a lot of character. good luck with everything :)

they are cheap but if you are new to frogs you would be better of buying sub adults or adults. morphs and juvie's can be a handful especially if you are new to frogs.

I started keeping frogs early last year, and found that spotted marsh frogs are easy to keep. they only need a small enclosure, a big water dish (as they spend most of the time in water) and maybe a fake fern or Something like that. they are hardy and don't need much attention. ;)
