I just need some quick glass size info from any glaziers or enclosure builders, would 5mm glass panels 680mm wide by 780mm high be stable enough to use for enclosure sliding doors in pvc track?

ive got 6mm on aluminium/ ball bearing track that work well.

i think glass that size wouldnt slide very well on pvc track because of its weight..?

I could be wrong..

will slide fine ... just get some sandpaper and sand back edges and corners really well

I didn't think about the weight...It would slide though, just need abit of muscle behind it and a good handle? lol

Or alternatively what would be the maximum size safe to use in a 5mm or 6mm pvc track?

i also wandering i got my glass tracks from bunnings a 5mm track would that handle 5mm glass alright?

i have some 680x680 x5mm glass in the standard 5mm track and have had no problem. when you get it cut ask the glazier to radius the bottom edge, less resistance that way and i also got him to cut some finger grips in as well;)

dragon owner that will handle 5mm, as thats what its made to hold.

I'm more concerned about it flexing/bending if the height is around 780mm?

the enclosure we bought has 5mm glass and a 6mm track and it work great
it dosent flex as much as i thought it would
my step dad uses the same thing for his big coastal and 2 little coastals it actually works well enough for them to open it if you dont lock it

Should be fine Jimmy , give the bottom edges a really good sand so they run smooth .

not at the moment dragon but i could get some tomorrow for you if thats ok...flat camera batteriesas for the flexing jimmy if i force it i get 1-1.5mm flex
