Hi everyone!
just wondering if anyone out there who does snake relocations (or maybe keepers) ever wear gloves when catching? I’m not in the snake catching business and I don’t use gloves when working with my own pythons but was wondering if any catchers would use gloves in the field catching pythons that may not be as placid as captive snakes?
I’m referring mainly to handling wild pythons and not venomous species as obviously handling techniques are different for pythons vs venomous snakes, and a cranky python who doesn’t want to move can still give a significant bite. I do understand that wearing thick gloves would obviously limit your depth perception when handling but im just interested in hearing opinions.
