I just put a deposit on my first trio of BHPs. I have a rack system large enough for them at this size. I also have two 6 foot vision cages. However I eventually want to be able to keep two or four adult BHPs in a rack system. I am really bad at gauging sizes. What size racks, tubs or click clacks do you guys use for your adult black headed pythons? I just don't have the space to have them all on display and I plan on starting a breeding project.

When I got my first Woma I got him an "adult" display cage - well I got him a 6 foot vision cage also and it was WAY too big for him. So just looking for some advice here ;) Thanks!

Depends. As you know, Adults can vary in size from 2.2m-3.2m+, also depends on weight etc.

I held a male BHP not so long ago, that was 14kg. This thing was a monster, I don't think you would want to put that into a rack system.

Good luck and hopefully you get your answer :)

Watch some Snake Byte on Youtube, all their pythons etc are in tubs and might give you a better idea.

i would say you need a large tub for them probably like those underbed storage containers if its a rack,
but i dont have racks so im probs wrong

Snake Byte has some awesome videos, and some awesome racks. I need something like that! I display cage would work too... just a really low profile one I guess. so I could stack a few of them in my spare room... I am not worried about cost at all right now. I didn't really think about the weight, probably why I don't see many huge racks.

Also I already have a the underbed storage systems, I use them to raise Womas in. I don't feel comfortable keeping a adult woma in the largest one I can find. I don't think one would be large enough for a BHP.

I wouldn't put adult blackheads in a rack system , use lower profile tank set up , check out dens pythons set up ,can stack around 5 on top of each other in a standard size room

Those are perfect. Just what I was looking for. I don't like the way Rack Systems work anyway, I just didn't know they made such low profile display cages. I think am going to buy a few of those. Thanks so much! :)
