Green tree python

hi, my name is jamie.
i was wondering if someone could offer me some advice.
im on my class 1 licence, nsw and i have been looking into green tree pythons and have the money to buy one and have done my homework.
the question is, can i get a special licence to keep GTP's even tho im on my Class 1 licence, i have been told i can but do not know for sure.

help would be appreciated

Nope, you'll need an R2 licence to keep them in NSW.
